FDA: Tell the Public About Blue Light!

FDA: Tell the Public About Blue Light!

Overview
A new study has found that bright light alters our metabolism. Bright light exposure increased insulin resistance compared to dim light exposure in the morning and evening. Insulin resistance leads to excess blood glucose, more body fat, and a higher risk for diabetes. This remarkable finding deserves more research and should be trumpeted far and wide. Write to the FDA, with a copy to Congress, telling the agency to alert the public about the link between blue light exposure and diabetes.
Target
Congress and the FDA
Goal
FDA should alert the public about the link between blue light exposure and diabetes.

"It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there will be any fruit. But that doesn't mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result."
